About Us

Welcome to Kibosho Girls’ Secondary School, where academic excellence and holistic development come together to shape the future of young women. Located just twelve kilometers from Moshi Town, our school provides a peaceful and focused learning environment that encourages growth and achievement. Easily accessible from the YMCA roundabout, our campus is surrounded by nature, creating a serene atmosphere that fosters concentration and personal development.

Founded in 1965 and officially registered in 1966, Kibosho Girls’ Secondary School has been committed to providing quality education for over five decades. With a capacity of 800 students, we offer both “O-Level” and “A-Level” programs, designed to prepare our students for academic success and equip them with the skills necessary for future leadership roles.

We are proud of our rich history, which includes the first graduating class of Form Four students in 1969. Over the years, we have continually evolved to meet the needs of our students, ensuring that each one receives personalized attention and the tools they need to excel. Our focus is not only on academics but also on nurturing character, leadership, and a sense of responsibility that will serve our students in their future endeavors.

We believe that education is more than just knowledge—it’s about creating a strong foundation for personal growth and community contribution.
